Vintage Japanese Chūkei Fan or Sensu Fan

This is likely a Japanese chūkei fan or Sensu Fan, a type of folding fan used by Noh actors or for ceremonies.The fan features a central scene painted on gold-leaf paper, supported by a bamboo frame. Decorative scenes on these fans often portray figures, legendary encounters. This one depicts two Dieties in action. With age related wear with minor rips and minor holes otherwise in good condition. Believed to be made from early to mid 20th century.
