A Pair Of Blue and White Chinese Plates.

The pair of plates have a raised prunus border circling around a blue dotted decoration which borders the image of a Chinese village scene with river mountains and houses. In the scene we have mountains to the background with people thinking over them. In the centre is a person crossing the bridge with trees either side and a house of to one side with a path way leading to the river with a couple of people on the path. A couple of fishing boats on the river and another house to the other side near the bottom with further trees. These are romantic scenes of naturalistic life in China over 100 plus years ago.

Fantastic condition with no visible damage, One plate does show a cream coloured paint shade over the glazing but this isn't a repair.

Measurements: Diameter 24.3cm, Height 2.6cm
