- Print By the artist John Doyle (1797-1886).
- Framed but not yet glazed.
- This is one of a series of political prints down by John Doyle through the 19th century (1829-1843).
- Published by Thomas McLean, 26 Haymarket. June 10th 1833.
- John Doyle sketch No.267
- The coloured printing depicts the Duke of Wellington peering through a broken pane of glass through a Georgian window.
- Printers stamp to the bottom left.
- Signed to the bottom right in pencil D of Wellington which is not very common for this art work.
- Wellington is signed the same way as the duke used to sign but I have not identified any items signed with just the D.
