Edwardian Pink Amethyst Necklace

A stunning art nouveau Edwardian pink amethyst and seed pearl pendant hanging on a 9ct gold chain.

This lovely pendent could also double up as a brooch, in the shape of a heart with a centre stone approx. 1ct in size in a lovely shade of pink amethyst, surrounded by seed pearl in a circular form, it then branches of to the top and bottom and sits two single seed pearl's in flower gold design. Either side of the design includes a leaf pattern fitted with seed pearls and more pink amethysts to the shoulder part of the pendant, the design then travels down to a larger leaf with seven seed pearl's in each stem connecting to the flower design which they continue down too two more pairs of leaves fitted with pearls and meeting in the middle with another pink amethyst which is then looped to a drop with another pair of gold leaves just above the last pink amethyst. Stamped 9ct to the reverse of the pendant.

The 9ct gold chain measures 19inches long, stamped with 375 9ct on the clasp.
