Antique Carved Soapstone Chinese Figure and Paperweight

Carved soapstone chinese figure and floral carved desk weight. These items are both well carved and have beautiful floral patterns on them. The carved figure looks to be a Chinese scholar in a robe decorated with clouds, wearing a tradition Chinese hat. The paper weight is beautiful and very finely carved around the sides as well as the top. Both have signs of chipping to the edges and surface.
