Oceanic Papua New Guinea Aibom Village Sago Storage Jar or vessel, these vessels were made to store flour from other tribes as the aibom did not harvest Sago. The Jar depicts a face on the front of the jar with an elongated nose or beak, with a decorativepattern around the entire body of the vessel. This Sago vessel has a chip of pottery missing from the top of its eye. Chip to the front of the nose or beak. Bur all in all in great condition.
