Chelsea Porcelain Cherub Riding A Goat

Stunning 19th Century Chelsea porcelain cherub riding a goat, this figure features grapes draped within hand and around the goat's neck while the goat is in a laying down position with a yellow flower in front of it.

This beautiful figure is sitting on a white oval base, unfortunalty with age the gilt trim has slowly worn away, the figure unfortunalty has slight signs of previous damage repairs and looks as if the cherub head had been knocked off and glued back on which shows a visible crack around the neck. A small chip on the tip of the cherubs wing which has been shown within images.
