Antique 19th Century Blue and White Chinese Export Teapot. Decorated with blue scenes of houses and foliage of the local land. This teapot was made for the export trade in the 19th century which was booming with the tea being the influence in item that was made. This teapot would have been a welcome gift or Souvenir at the time. With a minor makers flaw to the body of the teapot. The handle of the lid has been replaced and there is a very minor surface hairline to the lid which does not penetrate through the lid. Minor wear to the tip of the spout. Otherwise in lovely condition.
