3.6 metres Long Waney Edged Oak Counter or Bar top. Stunning. This is a marvellous piece of solid oak. The oak slab would make a wonderful bar or counter top. Side table or console table. This piece of oak has so many potentials. The history of this piece of wood. Fron the place I purchased it from to now and how it looks. This oak waney edge timber was saw down by the old Sedlescombe saw mill. It was placed under a lean to. The lean to has not been there for the last 10 to 12 years and has these piece of timber was saw around 15 to 20 years ago. Has endured the weather for past years and all the damp from the ground. I purchased the piece this summer. Have used a brass gringing wheel to clean all the dirty and bugs off. Once cleaned 2 coats of wood preservative. And then 3 coats of medium oak vanish. All buffed up giving it this deep grain and polished look.
